discuss how accrual concepts and matching concepts are the
same

Answer Posted / krishnachaitanyanellore

According to Accrual/Mercantile concept of accounting, the
incomes/expenses are treated as incomes/expenses during the
period they belong to irrespective of whether they are
realized or not.

According to the matching concept, the incomes generated
during a period should be equal to the expenses incurred in
the same period.

Both of them are not exactly same but are nearly same.

IS THERE ANY STANDARD ORACLE PROCESS WHICH CAN BE SCHEDULED? THE REPORTING BOOK WILL HAVE DIFFERENT DEPRECIATION METHOD SO HOW DO I NOT TRANSFER DEPRECIATION FROM PRIMARY TO REPORTING BOOK AND DO SEPERATE DEPRECIATION IN REPORTING BOOK FOR THE SAME ASSET THAT IS ALSO IN PRIMARY AND TAX BOOK?. HOW DO I APPROACH ON SETTING THESE NEW SETS OF BOOKS? Thanks, KK
