"Objective-C and Swift are both programming languages used for iOS development. Objective-C was created as a superset of C, introducing object-oriented programming to Apple's platform. It has been the primary language for iOS app development since the launch of the App Store. Swift is a newer language that was introduced by Apple in 2014. It was designed to be more intuitive and safer than Objective-C, while still being compatible with existing Objective-C code."
