Apache Tajo's architecture includes a metastore, query compiler, query optimizer, execution engine, and storage layer. The metastore manages metadata about tables and indexes. The query compiler translates SQL queries into an intermediate representation, which is then optimized by the query optimizer before being executed by the execution engine and stored in the storage layer.
