There are several types of blockchains: Public Blockchains (e.g., Bitcoin and Ethereum), which allow anyone to join, create transactions, and view the transaction history. Consortium Blockchains (or Federated Blockchains), where a group of organizations have control over the network and its rules. Private Blockchains (or Permissioned Blockchains), which require permission to join and have centralized controls.
