Pop (Post Office Protocol) and IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol) are both protocols used by email clients to retrieve emails from a server. The main difference lies in how they handle emails on the server after retrieval. POP downloads emails from the server and deletes them, while IMAP leaves copies of emails on the server. IMAP also allows you to access your emails from multiple devices simultaneously.
