"PST (Personal Folders) and OST (Offline Storage Table) are both used for offline access in Outlook. The main difference lies in how they handle data. PST files save all email data on your computer, while OST files keep a copy of the email data on the server and only downloads the changes when you're offline. Once you reconnect to the server, OST synchronizes with it."
