Outlook is a personal information manager that includes a calendar, contact manager, task manager, email client, and web browser. Microsoft Exchange Server is a email server product developed by Microsoft. While Outlook can be used with an Exchange Server to provide advanced email, collaboration, and scheduling functionality, they are not the same thing.
