"If a Physical Volume (PV) fails in a Volume Group (VG), the VG becomes unmirrored and can no longer provide redundancy. To recover, you need to replace the failed PV with a new one. Here's a general process:
1. Create a new PV on a suitable disk.
2. Extend the VG to include the new PV using the extendvg command.
3. Rebalance the VG using the vgmigrate or pvmove commands to balance data across all PVs in the VG.".
