To disable comments on a WordPress post, navigate to the post you wish to modify, and under 'Discussion', uncheck the 'Allow comments' option. To disable comments sitewide, go to Settings > Discussion and uncheck the box for 'Default article settings' or individually uncheck 'Comment articles'. You can also use the `disallow_comments` parameter in your post.
