What is systematic sampling?

Answer Posted / Prem Datt

Systematic Sampling involves selecting a fixed number of data points at regular intervals from the entire dataset. For example, if you have 1000 records and want to sample every 5th record, you would select records 5, 10, 15, ..., 995.nThis sampling method can help ensure that the sample is representative of the population as long as the dataset is ordered in a meaningful way.
