To create a hanging indent in Microsoft Word, follow these steps:
1. Select the text that will have a hanging indent.
2. Go to the 'Home' tab on the ribbon and click on the 'Indent' dropdown.
3. Choose 'First Line' from the list and adjust the indent level as needed.
4. To create a hanging indent, increase the left indent of the paragraph to the desired length.
