In Microsoft Word, to prevent Ctrl+Click from opening a hyperlink, you need to uncheck the 'Follow hyperlinks' option in Excel Options. Here are the steps:
1. Click on File > Options > Advanced.
2. Under 'Web Options', uncheck the box that says 'Open hyperlinks using my browser'.
3. Click OK.
