To create a macro in Word, go to the 'Developer' tab (if it is not already visible, you may need to enable it in Word Options). Click on 'Visual Basic' to open the VBA editor. In the editor, create your code and save the module. To run the macro from within the document, return to the Word interface and assign the macro to a button or quick access toolbar.
