"To copy a formula in Excel and keep one cell constant, follow these steps:
1. Select the cell with the formula you want to copy.
2. Press F2 to edit the formula.
3. Replace the cell reference you want to keep constant (e.g., A1) with the cell address of where you want to paste the updated formula, followed by the $ sign and then the column letter (e.g., $A$1 if pasting in cell A1).
4. Press Enter to copy the formula."
