How does the "as-built" function benefit plant
owner/operators?
Answer Posted / guest
The "as-built" function allows plant owners to support
revamp work on a running plant. The owner can take a
section of the plant and work on it in a project
environment while keeping the running plant data current.
After project completion, the project data can be merged
back into the data supporting the running plant in a
controlled manner (i.e., discrepancies will be high-
lighted and identified for resolution).
