An Excel array is a collection of cells treated as a single unit. Arrays are used in advanced functions to perform multiple calculations at once. They can be defined by enclosing the cell range within curly braces {}. For example, if you have the numbers 1, 2, and 3 in cells A1, A2, and A3 respectively, you could define an array as ={A1, A2, A3}.
