To set up a local repository manually for Apache Ambari, follow these steps: 1. Install Yum (on Linux), or Chocolatey (on Windows) if not already installed. 2. Create a local directory for your repository. 3. Add the local repository path to yum.repos.d or to the .chocolatey.yaml file respectively. 4. Upload the necessary RPM files to the local repository directory. 5. Run yum update or choco upgrade to use the local repository.
