Is it possible for classic link settings on ec2 classic interface to persist through start or stop cycles?

Since the Classic Network in AWS has been deprecated, it is recommended to migrate away from it. The behavior of Classic Link settings regarding start or stop cycles is not clearly defined as this model is no longer supported.
