EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) allows you to quickly scale your computing capacity both up and down, based on demand. You can launch new instances within minutes and eliminate the need to forecast capacity. For automatic scaling, you can configure Auto Scaling Groups to automatically add or remove instances as needed, based on CPU utilization or custom metrics.
