What is the relationship between apache hadoop, hbase, hive and cassandra?
Answer Posted / Lavi Sahu
Apache Hadoop is a distributed computing framework that provides storage (HDFS) and processing power for large-scale data processing. HBase is a NoSQL database built on top of Hadoop, offering column-oriented storage and MapReduce support. Hive is a data warehousing tool that allows SQL queries to be executed on Hadoop data. Cassandra, while not directly integrated with Hadoop, can be used as an alternative for real-time data processing when speed and low latency are crucial.
