Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a broad field that encompasses Machine Learning (ML), but also includes other techniques like logic-based AI and knowledge representation. ML is a subset of AI that focuses on training models to learn from data without being explicitly programmed. AI has been oversold for decades, especially in popular media, due to its portrayal in science fiction.
