1. If the objects in the application are dynamic, then
record and playback is not useful.
2. we cannot insert conditional and loop statements if it
is only record and playback.

But I dont know what is the mistake I did, if I run the script in QTP it is showing following error Error: Expected identifier Line (2): "executefile"C:\Documents and Settings\karthik\Desktop\functions.vbs"". Can someone help me fix this, please!!?

I had installed QTP 9.2. It is working fine but whenever I open QTP, it is trying to reinstall the below-mentioned files again and again "QTP92PS82UPGRADE.exe", "recogn.dll".
