.NET Framework can be installed on Windows using the following steps: Open Control Panel > Programs and Features > Turn Windows features on or off > Scroll down to '.NET Framework 3.5', expand it, check 'ASP.NET' and 'Windows Communication Foundation (WCF)', then click 'OK'.
