How do queries work in a database?

Answer Posted / Gagandeep

Queries in a database are used to extract, manipulate, and insert data. They can be written using Structured Query Language (SQL) or other query languages depending on the database management system being used. Queries consist of statements that define what data to select, how to filter it, and what operations to perform on it, such as sorting, grouping, joining tables, or updating records.
