What is a heap dump, thread dump?

Answer Posted / Rajesh Thakur

A heap dump is a snapshot of a program's memory heap as explained earlier. A thread dump, on the other hand, is a list of all running threads in a Java Virtual Machine (JVM) at a specific moment. Both are used for debugging and performance analysis.
