How do you find which process is using a file?

Answer Posted / Anubhav Sharma

To find out which process is using a specific file in Windows, you can use the Resource Monitor tool. Open it, go to the CPU tab, and click on the Disk sub-tab. There, you'll see a list of processes that are currently accessing files. Alternatively, you can use the Command Prompt with the handle command.
