Explain difference between ntfs4 and ntfs5?

Answer Posted / Shyam Veer Arya

NTFS4 is an older version of NTFS (New Technology File System) used in Windows XP, while NTFS5 was introduced in Windows Server 2003 and later versions. The main differences include improved support for large files, volumes, and clusters, better performance, improved security with ACLs (Access Control Lists), and the capability to recover data from damaged volumes.
