Struts and Spring are both Java-based frameworks for building web applications, but they have differences: (1) Struts uses a model-view-controller architecture, while Spring follows the inversion of control design pattern. (2) Struts has a more limited scope focusing on handling HTTP requests, whereas Spring offers a wide range of functionalities including IoC, AOP, data access, and web services.
