Explain about automatic type conversion in java?

Answer Posted / Chandan Kishore

Automatic Type Conversion, also known as Widening and Narrowing Primitive Conversions in Java, allows the compiler to convert values between different data types without an explicit cast. Widening conversions increase the size of a value (e.g., byte to int, char to int), while narrowing conversions decrease the size of a value (e.g., int to byte). The compiler performs automatic type conversion wherever necessary and automatically promotes or demotes values accordingly.
