Mention the difference between bills payable and bills receivable?

Bills payable are amounts owed by a business to its creditors for goods or services received but not yet paid. On the other hand, bills receivable represent the amount of money that customers owe to a business for goods or services delivered but not yet paid. In essence, bills payable are liabilities while bills receivable are assets.
