Explain current ratio.

Answer Posted / Premendra Kumar Singh

The Current Ratio measures a company's short-term liquidity. It is calculated as Current Assets (assets that can be converted into cash within one year) divided by Current Liabilities (debts due within one year). A higher current ratio implies better ability to pay off short-term debts.
