Transporting slurries requires materials that are resistant to erosion and abrasion. Common piping materials include: 1) Duplex stainless steel: offers high strength, corrosion resistance, and erosion resistance. 2) Rubber-lined steel pipe: provides excellent wear resistance and chemical compatibility for transporting slurries with varying compositions. 3) Polyvinyl chloride (PVC): used in applications where the slurry is non-corrosive and has a low abrasivity.
