A centrifugal pump with a self-priming capability or a positive displacement pump like a progressive cavity pump can be suitable for handling liquids near saturation with a low flow rate and limited NPSHa. These pumps can operate efficiently even when the liquid level is below the pump impeller, which reduces the requirement for NPSHa.
