An Emulator is a hardware or software system designed to mimic another system, allowing developers to test their code on that system without actual access to it. It typically runs at the same clock speed as the target system. On the other hand, a Simulator is a software tool that models the behavior of a system, usually at a lower clock speed than the real system. Simulators are used for design validation and analysis purposes.
