The Intrinsic Stand-Off Ratio (ISOR) is a characteristic of a voltage regulator and represents its ability to withstand input voltage surges without affecting the output. It can be derived from the following equation: ISOR = (Vout_max - Vout_min) / Vin_max, where Vout_max is the maximum allowed output voltage, Vout_min is the minimum allowed output voltage, and Vin_max is the maximum allowed input voltage.
