In an Intrinsic Semiconductor, the number of electrons (majority carriers) is equal to the number of holes (minority carriers), creating a 1:1 ratio. In Extrinsic Semiconductors, doping introduces either excess electrons or holes, resulting in a higher concentration of majority carriers compared to minority carriers.
