The removal of a bypass capacitor in a CE amplifier circuit can lead to unstable operation, high-frequency instability, and increased noise levels. The bypass capacitor helps in maintaining a constant DC voltage at the base of the transistor, providing a low-impedance path for high-frequency AC signals, and reducing power supply noise affecting the base region. Without it, these issues might arise.
