Explain how zener diode maintains constant voltage across the load?

Answer Posted / Amla Rani

A Zener diode operates in reverse bias and maintains a nearly constant voltage across its terminals when subjected to a specific current level. This is known as the Zener voltage. When a Zener diode is connected across a load, any excess voltage above the Zener voltage is dropped across the diode, ensuring that the voltage across the load remains close to the Zener voltage despite changes in the supply voltage or load current.
