What are the conditions to be satisfied for parallel operation of dc generators?
Answer Posted / Raj Bhushan Rai
The conditions to be satisfied for parallel operation of DC generators include matching field current, voltage regulation, and armature reaction. The field current should be matched so that the generated voltages are equal; the voltage regulation should be within specific limits; and the armature reactions should be balanced to avoid overheating and damage to the machines.
