In a rankine cycle if maximum steam pressure is increased keeping steam temperature and condenser pressure same, what will happen to dryness fraction of steam after expansion ?
Answer Posted / Prakash Diwakar
The dryness fraction of steam after expansion would decrease as the increase in maximum steam pressure results in a smaller volume of steam, which leads to a higher moisture content.
