What is the use of flash chamber in a vapour compression refrigeration cycle to improve the cop of refrigeration cycle ?

Answer Posted / Satish Kumar

A flash chamber is used in a vapor compression refrigeration cycle to separate high-pressure liquid entering the evaporator into a mixture of liquid and vapor. By doing so, it increases the amount of refrigerant that can be vaporized at low temperature, thus improving the coefficient of performance (COP) of the refrigeration cycle.
