An 'INSERT INTO SELECT' statement is used to insert rows from one table or query result into another table in SQL Server. The basic syntax is: INSERT INTO TargetTable (column1, column2, ...) SELECT column1, column2, ... FROM SourceTable WHERE conditions. This allows you to insert multiple records at once based on specific criteria.
