Glass fiber, also known as fibreglass, is a material made from glass that has been drawn out into filaments. It's a type of strong, lightweight, heat-resistant material that is not conductive to electricity. Glass fiber is commonly used in reinforcing plastic composites (fiberglass), which are used for manufacturing boats, airplanes, cars, and electrical insulators. It is also used in the production of glass wool for thermal and acoustic insulation.
