There are two primary weaves in textile engineering: Plain weave and Twill weave. nnIn a plain weave, each warp thread (vertical) alternates over and under every fill thread (horizontal). This results in a square pattern as shown below:nnnnIn a twill weave, the warp threads form diagonal lines, either as a series of ridges (warp-faced) or valleys (fill-faced).
