how do I determine which databases are daos enabled?

To determine if a database is DAOS-enabled, open the Notes Client, navigate to File -> Database -> Properties, and check the 'Database Characteristics' page. If you see a line stating 'DAOS Usage: Enabled', then the database is configured for DAOS.
