To create cross-referencing in Word 2013, follow these steps:
1. Select the location where you want to insert a reference.
2. Go to ‘Insert’ tab on the ribbon.
3. Click on ‘Cross-reference’ in the Text group.
4. In the Cross-reference dialog box, choose the reference type from the 'Reference type' list.
5. Under 'Number format', select a style for your cross-reference.
6. Check ‘Update field’ if you want the cross-references to be automatically updated when changes are made in the document.
7. Click on 'Insert'.
