Yes, it is possible to offload S3 data to EC2 instances for processing using Amazon S3 Select or Amazon S3 Transfer Acceleration. However, directly casting off S3 objects to EC2 instances isn't a standard operation as EC2 instances are primarily used for compute tasks while S3 is designed for storage.
