How can you modify the instance kind for instances that are running in your application tier and are using auto scaling. Where can you modify it from the subsequent areas?

To change the instance type of running instances within an Auto Scaling group, you can either update the Launch Template or Launch Configuration associated with the Auto Scaling group. Once updated, the new configuration will be applied to new instances launched and existing instances during replacement or scaling events.
