How far back am I able to see the historical metrics on the rds console?

The amount of historical data you can view on the RDS console depends on factors such as your database engine, the instance type, and the backup configuration. For example, Amazon RDS for MySQL supports up to 35 days of automatic backups, while for PostgreSQL it's up to seven days.
