Where do you think an AMI fits, when you are designing an architecture for a solution?
Answer Posted / Amlish Kumar
An Amazon Machine Image (AMI) is a template that contains the software configuration (operating system, applications) to be used to launch an instance. It fits in the architecture design process by providing the base image to boot your EC2 instances and ensure consistency across instances in terms of pre-installed operating systems and applications.
